Ever wonder how a full backyard transformation starts? This is day one — excavation day. We’re breaking ground on a good-sized custom pool, then building out a cantilever patio addition to the existing space, along with a full outdoor kitchen and a recessed TV setup. There’s a lot going into this project, and it all starts right here.

The gunite is in, and now you can really start to see the shape of the pool come together. We’re still early in the process, but this is one of those stages where the backyard starts looking a lot more like the finished design.

Building a pool means your yard is going to look like a construction site for a while — that’s part of the process. But when we’re finished, the cost to repair irrigation we damage and replace the sod is already included in our price.

Some pool companies may quote 2 pallets of sod and then tell you they needed 4, or include a certain amount of irrigation repair and charge more when the damage goes beyond that.

That’s not how we do it. We account for those costs upfront so you’re not hit with surprise charges at the end of the project.
