The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday® is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.

On SATURDAY, November 26th, Transitions design & decor is participating and asking millions of Americans to Shop Small at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be HUGE!

There are over 250 small businesses inside our location at Frisco Mercantile!! SHOP SMALL SATURDAY!

I am first a wife and mother of two teens, then I get to put on my creative cap! I have always had a passion for creativity, art and design which led me to pursue a degree in Interior Design at Art Institute of Dallas, graduating June of 1991. With 20 years experience, I've had the opportunity to create in many facets of design. Floral - creating beautiful and elegant weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and corporate events. Drapery/Decor - from simple panels to the not-so simple treatments, custom pillows and embellishments. Faux - plaster and paint techniques for walls and furniture. And Kitchen and Bath Redesign to name a few. A year ago, we were able to move into our newly built home after being in our first home for 13 years. During that 8 month process the beginning for my love affair with the new, emerging Transitional style - a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary - began. So chic, so classy, so comfortable, and so uncluttered! With so much transition that took place, it was only fitting to rename my business to TRANSITIONS when I secured a suite at the Frisco Mercantile in March. Another passion of mine is creating gorgeous layered crosses that would fit with any style, but lend to the Transitional style, or be customized to your style!
