Another special project that I can safely say challenged me in a number of ways. I think I enjoyed figuring out how to forge the guard the most, it was very satisfying once it started to look like something. Once again shout out to the guys at the shop for your help. Collaborative work is educational to everyone involved.

Alright so update. I recently took a job at the one and only Baltimore Knife and Sword. That does not mean I am no longer making culinary knives however it does mean my content will change a bit.

For anyone wondering the giveaway knife is still coming. I've decided to do a more ambitious build and will be sharing progress on that as it happens. I appreciate your patience it's been wild the past two months.

Lots of new things coming. Come along I think it'll be a good time. 👍

Hammer is back up and running great! Re did all the hoses, retaped the fittings, got a new regulator/filter/oiler, and mounted her solidly to the concrete.

Big thank you to everyone who helped me get her up and running. Feeling very fortunate and grateful.

Another knife of firsts for me. First time making Mild Damascus and first time forge welding said material to a core of W2. Thin blade that will be a great multitasker for whatever comes up in the kitchen.
