To all of my friends and acquaintances in and around Fuquay and the greater Southern Wake County/Northern Harnett County areas. We have some real heat coming in the next few days. When Dad bought it, it was known as M&H Heating & Air Conditioning, and had been installing and servicing heating and air conditioning systems since 1963.. What do we do when the weather is mild and there is less demand for our services? We train! It’s always a great time to review the fundamentals, and it gives our guys the chance to add to their skillsets and increase their knowledge of heating and air conditioning. We are very happy to have partnered with a world class teacher like David Cameron for a 5 full day skills training course over the next few weeks to get us in top form for the coming cooling season! “Why is our power bill so high this month?!”

Driving through a neighborhood today, we saw this at someone's home. We stopped and knocked on the door and when no one answered, we left our card. Hope they call somebody soon. Even if it isn't us.

If your heat pump looks like this, you have a problem that needs a professional to fix it before it gets expensive. Heat pumps regularly get a thin build up of frost on them when it is cold out. Especially when it is cold and wet. However, they should go into defrost and melt the frost long before it ever looks anything like this!

We were very sad to learn this morning of the passing of Chief “Tony” Maudlin. Having worked with him many times throughout the years, we have always had a great deal of respect for him, as have so many in our community. We are sad to hear that he is gone, but we are glad to know he passed peacefully, surrounded by those who he loved. Thank you, Chief Mauldin, for all your years of service and sacrifice.
