I didn't pay for cheap cabinets but that's what I got and they sure aren't holding up. It's been a little more than a year and about half don't do the soft close anymore.

Here's one more reason not to use Jackson Stoneworks to do your cabinets.
Here's the back of one of my cabinets that they rigged with the cheap skin instead of a three-quarter inch board for a back. YES I'M SERIOUS... A THIN SKIN!!!

Unbelievably cheap! Of course the cabinets weren't cheap. They charged me a pretty penny. This company lacks integrity and honesty. I had another cabinet guy to come and give me an opinion/estimate yesterday on how much it would cost to replace and repair the damaged cabinets that Jackson Stoneworks installed in my new kitchen. I asked him if anyone would ever use a skin on the back of a cabinet and he said NEVER!!!

They ripped me off and it was INTENTIONALLY done. They're cabinet/countertop people. They knew what they were doing. Jackson Stonework's cheats people out of their money and delivers cabinets... that are terrible!!!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T EVEN GO THERE! I have so much regret and the damage and the cost to repair/replace is horrific. I've had so many different professionals look at the job now and all agree that it is a terrible install and it's all wrong.

Good thing they didn't pull permits. They would never have passed inspections. Oh yeah that reminds me, they still haven't shown me the plumbing and electrical licenses they should have to do that work. I did ask for them. Ooooo the judge won't like them doing unlicensed and unpermitted work at all. I don't either!!!
Like I said, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

If you are thinking of getting new cabinets or countertops installed by Jackson Stoneworks DON'T!!!! They are cheap and dishonest and will rip you off!!
I had a cabinet guy out yesterday to look over the MESS created by Jackson Stoneworks. The nightmare gets worse and worse. On the back of the kitchen counter instead of using a 3/4" board, they used a skin! Yes a skin to cover the back. That's why it's flexible and thin and bowed already even though I haven't used the dishwasher. The cabinet guy found soooo many things screwed up and he said all of it is unacceptable! He pointed out so many things I hadn't seen that Jackson Stoneworks did and they were all to save them time and money!!
A skin is a thin 1/4" flexible skin that is used to recover a cabinet to change out what you have without getting a whole new cabinet. These guys used it as the back of a 9' long cabinet. It's already warped and would ripple if I turn on the dishwasher and it gets humidity. Who does s**t like this and sleeps at night??

I'll be posting pictures next of the nightmare job painting that Jackson Stoneworks did in my house. I can't emphasize enough how many and how much they screwed up and how fast you should run and find someone else to do your remodel. RUN and don't give Jackson Stoneworks your hard earned money or they will rip you off!! THIS PICTURE IS THE FINISHED CEILING!! Not kidding and Tyler Ryals sees nothing wrong with it. OMG!! Take your business to someone else. Don't let JACKSON STONEWORKS RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!

Jackson Stoneworks specializes in counter tops and cabinet so out of everything they screwed up in my house, you'd think they'd at least get that right. Sorry to say, they are as messed up as everything else that they did. Starting in the kitchen. Vickie Marcus who used to work for Jackson Stoneworks failed to measure properly and somehow I ended up with one glass cabinet to the right of the stove that is the correct size and the one to the left of the stove is too small. So Jackson Stoneworks rigged the smaller one to fit by adding in a 3" piece of filler. You can easily see that it's too small. The hood was ordered way to big due to bad measuring again, and they had to cut it in half to make it fit the space. They left 1.5" gap between the cabinet top and ceiling that I assumed they would cover with moulding but no that was the way they intended it to look. The cabinet guys had some crown moulding from another job and they put it up and covered the ugly gap Jackson Stoneworks planned to leave. The pantry was also measured wrong and had to be modified by cutting 7" off the bottom. Then in the kitchen counter there is this huge bow out where they pushed the dish washer into the cabinet and at the top the 1/4 round dips in. Look at the pictures and yes that is glue all over the cabinet that they left. Not all the soft close drawers work and the pulls were not all put in correctly. I'm posting pictures of all of these things.

I am having to pay another company to repair Jackson Stoneworks screwed up renovation so everything is taped up while they repaint. However, I wanted to put this picture here so you'd know what cabinet I'm taking pics of in the next few photos. It's VERY noticeable and right in the middle of the living area. The back side of this cabinet is totally messed up. You can't see it from this angle but just look at the next few pics. I know the dish washer is shoved into it and bulging the middle panel out but I can't imagine what they did to dent the top of the cabinet in. I guess the CABINET guy I have to hire to fix this will explain it and I'll post more photos.

I bought Blue Pearl for the Butler's Pantry from Jackson Stoneworks, and they cut it wrong according to the guy from JSW who installed it.

Soooo, the cabinet stuck out beyond the counter top. It looked bad and they tried to cover it up by tweaking the placement.

I complained and they said they'd bring out another piece. They did but it was from a different slab so it was much lighter. They first put the new piece in with the darker slab's backsplash and it looked terrible.

I ended up with 3 pieces of lighter Blue Pearl and 3 pieces of the darker Blue Pearl counter as well. It was the best they could do according to Tyler Ryals.

Here's the kicker for me. The installer told me he knew it was wrong when they installed it and he knew they'd be back and they did it anyways!!!! I'd fire his ass for that!

So basically Jackson Stoneworks tried to pass off a badly cut counter top to me hoping I wouldn't notice.

Then they sold the rest of the slab I'd bought to someone else and I ended up with two different colors of Blue Pearl for the counter tops in the Butler's Pantry. Of course, it was all full price!! AVOID AVOID AVOID and get your counter tops from someone else!!

They also forgot to dog ear the window sill and the silicone caulk was different colors. The caulking under the counter where they assumed you wouldn't look was super ugly. I wouldn't write a check until they fixed it and they fixed all except for the two different colors of counter top which I was stuck with.

I paid to have Jackson Stoneworks remove the popcorn and redo the ceiling with a skip trowel pattern. They scraped off the popcorn and put the texture right on the drywall. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Tape is showing and there are trowel marks and white patches.

JSW only put one coat of paint leaving the ceiling with white patches. They skipped many steps and the result was very poor as you can see in the pictures.
They should have scraped off the popcorn, filled in all cracks and caulk the wall/ceiling joints so they are easy to paint and straight, put a smooth layer of mud on the dry wall ceiling covering the tape, then when that is dry they come in a put another layer with the texture. That dries and then it gets two coats of paint. They certainly suck at painting.

02/11/2018

Jackson Stoneworks charged me a lot for painting. I'm going to have to do all of it over and pay for too. If you're even thinking about having them help you do a renovation, you better look at my pictures. I don't know what's worse the flooring, the painting, the ceiling or the door that falls off a hinges.

02/11/2018

This is the AFTER video of my new floor. Jackson Stoneworks did a terrible job installing it and Integrity Design took the new flooring up removed all the glue and debris JSW left and installed it right. All the crunching popcorn noise is gone. You can hear footsteps but you don't hear the adhesive sticking to the back of the vinyl that you heard before.

02/10/2018

This video shows the loud noise the new vinyl flooring made when it was installed improperly. Jackson Stoneworks put it down on top of glue, adhesive, and old wood from the previous flooring that was left on the concrete due to laziness and p**s poor prep work. Integrity Design was able to take the glue off in a few hours and reinstall the floor so it doesn't make a noise.
