With soaring ceilings, dramatic windows, and a sweeping curved staircase, this entry needed a fixture that could hold its own within the architecture without competing with it.

Would you paint your dining room black?
For this space, the answer was absolutely yes.
Taking the black beyond the walls and onto the ceiling created a dramatic, enveloping backdrop—but the key was balance. Light upholstery, reflective finishes, natural light, and statement lighting keep the room from feeling heavy.
The result is bold without sacrificing sophistication.
Sometimes the right design decision isn’t the safest one. It’s the one that makes the entire room make sense.

This view didn’t happen by accident.
From the arched opening and statement chandelier to the placement of the freestanding tub against that incredible window, every element was considered with the final sightline in mind.
Because great design isn’t simply about choosing beautiful finishes—it’s about understanding how architecture, scale, light, and proportion work together to create a moment that feels effortless.
Years later, this remains one of those spaces that reminds us why thoughtful design is timeless.

Look up.
Some of the most impactful moments in this home aren’t found at eye level.
They’re above it.
Custom ceiling treatments, layered architectural molding, decorative panels, statement lighting, arched windows, and carefully considered proportions were all used to give these spaces their own identity.
A ceiling shouldn’t be an afterthought.
A hallway shouldn’t simply connect one room to another.
And architectural details shouldn’t exist just because they look pretty.
They should contribute to the experience of the space.
That’s what happens when you design the entire room—not just what’s placed inside it.
And sometimes, the best design detail is the one you don’t notice immediately.
Until you take a second look.

Not every room needs to be light, bright, and neutral.
In fact, sometimes the most memorable spaces are the ones that dare to go in the opposite direction.
For this entertainment space, we embraced the drama.
Deep, color drenched charcoal millwork
Rich wood.
Antique-inspired mirror for our speakeasy feel.
Warm metallics.
Layered lighting. Combining new and family heirlooms.
And a fully designed bar that becomes the focal point of the room.
The result is intimate, masculine, sophisticated—and completely different from the lighter spaces throughout the home.
That’s intentional design.
A home doesn’t have to look the same from room to room.
It needs to feel like you.

Your bedroom should be the quietest room in the house.
After designing spaces that entertain, impress, and make a statement, the primary bedroom should do something completely different.
It should make you exhale.
For this space, we created a soft, sophisticated palette layered with texture rather than relying on excessive color.
The marble fireplace creates a dramatic architectural focal point, while the upholstered furnishings, layered bedding, patterned rug, and soft blue accents bring warmth and comfort back into the room.
Every element has a purpose.
Nothing competes.
Nothing feels overdone.
It’s about creating a space you never want to leave.

A kitchen can be beautiful without being functional.
It can also be functional without feeling beautiful.
We don’t believe you should have to choose.
In this kitchen, every element was considered—from the substantial island and custom cabinetry to the contrast between the dark wood and crisp white surfaces.
The island becomes the center of the room, while the surrounding cabinetry provides the storage and organization needed for everyday living.
And because this kitchen opens directly into the dining and living spaces, the design needed to feel intentional from every angle.
That is the difference between decorating a kitchen and designing one.
