At first glance, this primary bath feels effortlessly beautiful. But what makes the space successful isn’t any single feature—it’s how every element works together.
The soaring ceiling height could have made the room feel cold and disconnected. To bring warmth and scale, we incorporated decorative wood beams that draw your eye upward while adding architectural character.
The oversized arched window creates a stunning focal point and floods the room with natural light. Positioning the soaking tub beneath it wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about creating an experience. The tub becomes a destination, offering a connection to the outdoors while maintaining privacy.

Progress Report: The Lighthouse Project
One of the most impactful design decisions in this home is the flooring. By installing the flooring on a diagonal, we’re visually expanding the space and creating a more dynamic, contemporary feel throughout the main living areas.
Rather than adding the visual weight often associated with traditional wood floors, this selection brings a lighter, modern Mediterranean aesthetic that feels fresh, open, and timeless.
This foundation also gives us the freedom to introduce richer, darker cabinetry without making the space feel heavy. It’s all about balance—light and dark, warmth and contrast, beauty and function.
Every design choice is connected, and we’re excited to see this vision continue to come together.

Behind the Design:
At first glance, this fireplace wall feels simple and understated. But the details are what make it work.
The bold black fireplace surround creates a strong focal point, grounding the room and providing contrast against the bright architectural backdrop. Repeating that black finish in the steel-framed doors and television creates visual continuity, allowing each element to feel intentional rather than competing for attention.
The warm brass picture lights soften the contrast and add a layer of sophistication, while the arched niches introduce shape and depth to balance the clean, linear elements. Underfoot, the herringbone flooring guides the eye through the space, subtly enhancing the room’s flow.
One of the most important design decisions here wasn’t adding more—it was knowing where to stop. By carefully balancing contrast, scale, and architectural details, the space feels elevated, timeless, and effortlessly comfortable.
Luxury design isn’t about filling a room. It’s about making every element earn its place.

Project Lighthouse Update ✨
A statement piece was never going to be optional in this kitchen. The custom hood is finally in place, and it’s already setting the tone for the entire space. The rich finish, elegant curves, and scale create the perfect focal point, while the surrounding details work together to make this kitchen feel both grand and inviting.

We love mixing strong architectural elements with lighter textures to create a space that feels timeless, not heavy. We can’t wait to see the countertops, lighting, and finishing touches bring the full vision to life.
