Visit our gift shop, garden center and cafe. Originally a strawberry and melon farm in the 1920’s and 30’s, Lavender Ridge Farms is now home to a field of 1000 lavender plants, a walk through butterfly garden, several aviaries housing different birds, some farm animals and a ringtail lemur family. We invite you to visit our farm, have a lavender lunch in our café or bring a picnic. Shop our unique

gift shop that includes all of our handmade bath and body products plus enjoy shopping our plant nursery specializing in hardy perennials, lavender plants and seasonal color. The farm is staffed by knowledgeable friendly folks eager to talk to you. Spring 2022 we have renovated our lavender planting for future beautiful blooms. The original plants were on their seventh year and succumbed to the last two brutal winters and heavy spring rains. We will keep this page and our website updated on the progress of our new lavender plantings and the expected season for cutting. We look forward to your visit as the beauty changes monthly! Farm and Cafe are open March - October.

Happy September! It’s slowly cooling down and we all love this for sure. I’ve included a few pictures of some treasures that have been passed down through the years from family. The two wooden,hinged doors came from the original barn of my great grandparents and the pic of the two folks in the strawberry rows is from 1929. We have several pieces of history here including the land where we are working and live. In the 1920s and 1930s this part of the land grew strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon and cucumbers. Produce was taken to Gainesville and surrounding towns for sale. My great grandparents worked so hard during those years to make a living.
If you’ve never been here, come see what we have recreated here our family property. Or if you have, come for another lunch, relax in the shade and check out he gift shop and nursery.

Attention all hummingbirds and dessert lovers!
All desserts are HALF PRICE in the cafe today.
Enjoy lavender cheesecake, lavender ice cream, lavender brownie sundae, lavender lemon gooey butter cake and French silk chocolate pie.
Hummingbirds, it’s happy hour all day at the feeders today! We are enjoying seeing so many of you little jewels at the feeders. Humans, bring your cameras!

How about coming and enjoying the cool front with us this weekend? A forecasted 99 degrees vs 100+. 😊 A few degrees in the summer makes a huge difference when you spend time outdoors.
We have the supplies for staying cool! Lots of shade, ice cold lavender lemonades and teas. Also have some great 50% off plants in the nursery. This is Marlee’s last weekend working in the gift shop 😞. We will miss her but wish her the best in her new career. Be sure and give her best wishes when ya come.

Happy Friday! We have free shade and good buys in the nursery! All plants 50% off. Here are a few: Altheas, spirea, vitex, hardy hibiscus, plumeria, agaves and flowering almond to name a few. Still have some nice 1 gallon perennials also. Come have a look and have lunch and a summer lavender drink flight in the cafe. 😊

There is a nice, welcomed breeze here at the farm this morning. A great day for a flight, in the cafe that is. Our lavender drink flight has been a hit and it is a refreshing way to beat the heat. All nursery plants are 50% off. Pictures of some of them below.
