🚨 DID YOU KNOW? 🚨
We can pre-panelize ICF walls in 10' sections right here at the shop! Makes the on-site install way easier and faster!
Just did this job with 130 LF of 2' tall stem walls using Vertical ICF from TF Forming Systems- The Vertical ICF.
Check out my first time-lapse video below—it shows me installing, reinforcing, and bracing off 200 sq ft in about 2.5 hours... solo. My helper was out sick with a migraine, and I had a late start that day, but I still got it knocked out. (The camera didn't catch the rest of the project for some reason, and I didn't get any footage of the pre-panelizing at the shop, but I'm excited I got this first video done, edited, and uploaded.)
This one was interesting—the GC wanted to do half the project using Superform to use up the rest of what he had on hand, then asked us to use our Vertical ICF for the other half so he could officially make the switch to use vertical on the rest of his projects from here on out. Pre-panelizing those 13 sections at the shop made my part super smooth—no dealing with floating forms, quick setup, clean install.
It's also good to note that it was a rain day on the day we were working in the shop and on the install day, there were gusts of wind up to 35mph. So we were able to make use of two days that would have originally been weather days or difficult to work in and made some money.
I'm no video pro (picked up what I know from a couple quick YouTube videos), but I'm into it now. Planning on more time-lapses as I get better with the camera and keep improving.
Anyone else running pre-panelized ICF? What's your take? Drop a comment! 👇
