Been hard at it, working on my new work truck for the business for the last couple months. Still have some work left to do on it but it’s starting to shape into something really nice each and everyday. It is a one owner 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LT. I bought it from an older gentleman. Was mainly used for a wood hauler and a plow truck. Despite the rust issues on most of the rear frame. It has part near mint interior. Someone also had replaced the rockers, and cab corners on it not to long ago, but just needed to be cleaned up, touched up and repainted. Runs like a million bucks and everything works on it like it should. So the good out weighed the bad on it so decided it was worth the amount of work to put into it, fix it and make it a solid truck again, then it was parting out and scraping. Also got into a fender bender with it when I got it so had to put a new rust free oem door and fender on it along with some serious work on pulling out the rocker pannel which turned out great! The new door that I put on it had a pretty nasty little gouge in it that I fixed and had to repaint the whole door. Also replaced the bed with another one that was much better shape but needed some tlc and and some elbo grease. Also got creative and decided to build my own patch panels for the rear wheel wells from an old car hood. Little progress update on it so far. Still still some work to do on it, to get it where I want it. Along with some bussiness stickers to put on it. I also am planning on building my own custom ladder rack for it will update more progress as I go and pics once it’s all finished up.
