Starting today we will be closing the business and no longer offering dump trailer rentals or one time bulk pick ups. When we started there were not many options, we seen a need for the community and wanted to contribute. However, as the future is so unsure we have noticed quite a few businesses now doing the exact same thing so we shall be closing this chapter and concentrating on the next chapter for our family. We thank you and appreciate everyone that used our services this past year.

Announcement:

We are in no way affiliated with Happy Scott Trash we relinquished all contact with said individual when we gave him the trash business. However, we have been informed that he continues to bring us up on his page and to customers. We would like to let everyone know that we do not support the slander that he is attempting to do to our name and reputation and have always been transparent with our customers. We have been made aware that our payment service is issuing random invoices to some of our previous customers. As the setup for auto pay is managed by the customer, we are limited in our ability to control this directly and have taken steps to rectify the situation by contacting affected customers and refunds have been processed for all impacted as they were identified. We pride ourselves on transparency and if anyone experiences this issue and we are not immediately aware, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can resolve the matter. We will continue to monitor and address these instances as they are brought to our attention.

Today marks our final day of operating the trash collection portion of our business. Beginning tomorrow, all customer accounts and service details will be transferred to Happy Scott Trash.
• Monthly Customers: Future monthly payments should be made directly to Happy Scott Trash.
• Prepaid Customers: If you have paid in advance, we will provide Happy Scott Trash with your account information, including the length of time you are paid up, and they will honor those payments.

If you have made other arrangements and do not want the information forwarded, please notify us as soon as possible.

After our announcement there seems to be some confusion.

You do not have to continue trash service with your current driver the owner of Happy Scott Trash. If you choose so great if you choose not to also great. It’s all up to you the customer. If we do not get a call, text or preferably fb message (because my wife can field those at home easier) that you prefer not to switch over then your contact information will be sent or you can choose to contact him yourself.

If you are a long time paid up customer he will uphold that payment. If you are monthly he will start charging you as Happy Scott Trash.

We appreciate everyone giving us a chance. We tried to uphold affordable prices and that could not be sustained in today’s economy raising a family of our own. We however are still open for all your affordable junk removal needs.

As most of you have been contacted or the attempt of being contacted its time to officially announce that after much consideration we did decide to just give the trash route to Scott. Even though it was not handled in the correct manner and blindsided not only us but the customers as well it does work out for us as I do not have the time to dedicate to that side of the business as I did when I first started it. That being said the last day for Dummitt’s to be responsible for your trash needs is 9-24-25. If you would like to keep Scott give Josh a call at 740-709-2672 and we can discuss the next steps. Happy Scott Trash will be honoring anyone who is paid ahead. He will get the customer roster and all of that information if you choose to keep him. We have been making phone calls and sending messages throughout the day to those with overdue payments. If you could kindly return our call, we would appreciate the opportunity to settle your outstanding invoices. Otherwise, we will be forced to terminate services due to non-payment and lack of communication. Thank you

We identified a need in the community for affordable and reliable trash services, prompting us to establish our own operation. However, our objective of supporting the community cannot be achieved in isolation. We have consistently faced significant unpaid invoices, exceeding $1000, yet continued to provide services in anticipation of payment. Unfortunately, this has not yielded the desired outcome, and the financial burden has fallen on the company to absorb the costs of non-paying customers, impacting our ability to sustain operations. As a small family-owned business, we cannot maintain our current business model. Therefore, we are issuing a final notice for all outstanding invoices to be settled. Failure to do so will necessitate closure.
