Father’s Day is very quickly approaching. Girl math dictates that I point out that if you were to happen into the store and splurge on the tool, batteries or pack out gear he has had his eye on for awhile, you could potentially wonder over to the garden center and take advantage of our plant sale. 50% off all remaining plants. And our $1.00 vegetables. Our first year having the garden center has been a lot of work and learning and we’ll be even better next year! Thank you all for your support and suggestions. Ben has made the call. All vegetable plants have to be planted. They are on sale for a $1.00 a piece. They have outgrown their containers and need to be planted very quickly. Most plants already have vegetables on the vine. They just need to be able to spread and grow a bit more than what we can provide for them.

Our plants have out grown what we are able to provide for them here in our garden center. So we are appealing to our customers better natures to give our plants a better home. For a small rehoming fee you too could help a poor plant find a better life in your garden than what we have for them here. Some days you just have to delegate the work and relax, stretch out in the sun and supervise.
We are open Sundays from 1:00 - 6:00. So if you are wanting to spruce up your garden we have some pretty established vegetables and flowers. We have heard from some customers that the rabbits have been especially bothersome this year. If you need to replant some lost veggies or if you are in need of some repellent come on in. You won’t have to start from seeds or seedlings here.

Gronk had some company this morning while helping water the plants. He decided that his younger siblings needed to start training in how the store operates. He is following the advise of Tim the Tool Man on Taylor.
You might see some new faces at Taylor Hardware along with the familiar faces you are used to seeing. Passing on knowledge is important and that is what we are working to do here in our store. So if you need some help and it takes a bit we are asking for you to have some patience, we’re learning new skills. We want to make sure that we are getting you the best part, tool, equipment or advice for your project. Training new people is part of that process.

Ooooh look at this! Our green pepper plants have peppers started. Our tomatoes have really shot up. Basically our vegetables and flowers are having some kind of contest in the garden center that we can only speculate on. My guess is the vegetables are going with “I can produce more for you. Your homemade salsas will spice up you meals. Your canning game will be on point this summer. You won’t need the Farmer’s Market, I am the farmers market, but we can still go.
And the flowers responded with, “That’s nice. Look at how pretty I am with my flowers trailing over the baskets. I am beauty. I am grace. I can beautify your space”

We might have mentioned before that we now have a garden center. We’re pretty proud of how it looks and all the hard work that Aaron and the crew have put into it. So we just wanted to take a second to show how good our Proven Winners plants look. I bet they would look even better at your house… I’m just saying. Stop by and see if something catches your eye.

Gronk was out and about inspecting the Garden Center today. He says, “if you can’t get your plants inside get them covered so they don’t get too cold.” He is a chihuahua mix so he knows how to avoid cold when he can help it.
