This is a reminder NOW is the time to start planting trees , shrubs , perennials, etc ( no pun intended ) cooler weather insures root growth . I have people all the time coming in May for rhubarb, asparagus and berries then wonder why they don’t grow well for them NOW is the time. We normally have rain at this time of year of course we never know but in this part of country spring is better than fall because of our rain chances. Been gardening in Arkansas for over 48 years and pretty well know what does and what doesn’t do well here. Fortunately I don’t have a deer problem you would think the nursery would be their buffet but not a one has bothered to visit and it’s not that I don’t have them counted 17 in my back fields probably gorging themselves on the numerous Pawpas I have in woods because I never get a one😠 . Have some really nice dogwoods white 5-6 foot well branched some blooming for 69.95 Plant now
Many other perennials are starting to look good again after that freeze last week. Hope you can come out Easter week Nunns orchids should be in full bloom . It’s quite a site .

Well as usual winter to summer no spring . I guess you all know me well enough to know my feelings on that DONT like it!!
We are now fully stocked with berries strawberries blueberries blackberries raspberries and currents . Asparagus and rhubarb roots . Save money buy them bare root . It will be at the old place until I move refrigeration down. Also beautiful delphinium fox glove a bit early but they are so beautiful blooming and I believe unless hot wind kicks up should still be nice for Easter . Candytuft , monarda both blue and purple , clematis and peonies expecting tree peonies beginning of April. Will let you know when water plants will be ready far behind on that because of weather we raise so many on our property . Have a nice weekend and try to stay cool ugh on the weather! Ps the Nunns Orchids are going to bust out in bloom any day they are truly a wonder stop by next 2 weeks to see them.

🌿 Big News From Our Family Farm! 🌿

After 45 years of being my mom and dad’s beautiful nursery, our little piece of heaven in Garfield, Arkansas is beginning a brand-new chapter — and I’m so excited to finally share it!

I grew up on this land… among the greenhouses, the gardens, the koi ponds, and the long days of planting, watering, and learning the magic of watching things grow. This place shaped who I am, and now it’s becoming something we can share with you.

We are officially adding to the nursery a boutique event venue — perfect for weddings, showers, small gatherings, photography sessions, retreats, and more. ✨
Located about 30 minutes from Bentonville, Rogers, and Eureka Springs, our farm offers a peaceful, natural setting with the same beauty and charm my parents poured their hearts into for decades.

We’re keeping everything that made this place special — the gardens, the ponds, the quiet, the history — and bringing in new life, new memories, and new celebrations. We are also continuing to sell statuary, water garden products, and some select plants as mom still loves her passion for gardening as so many of you do.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our family all these years. Stop by and see all we have done and shop our statuary snd water harden inventory. I can’t wait to see how this next season blossoms. 🌸💚
