Irrigation find of the day!!
Classic example of why cheaper might not always be better. Especially with irrigation when most of it is buried. You never know what the quality of work is because you never see it. This here is a wrong way of eliminating an existing line. Bending a pipe over and sliding a lager pipe over the two to crimp the line is not a permanent fix. Eventually it will fail and another bill to fix that issue will come. But since it was buried you as the homeowner will never know the real issue. Chose a contractor you can count on doing the right thing even though it might take more time.
