Today's the day we say it out loud.
Labor Day gets treated like the last weekend of summer. It started as something else: a day set aside for the people who build things.
We work with them every day. The tile setter who kneels for eight hours to make a pattern land right. The finish carpenter who won't accept a joint you'd never have noticed. The painter who comes back to fix something nobody asked him to fix.
30+ years of award-winning work in Raleigh, and none of it was done by a logo. It was done by hands.
To everyone in the trades, thank you. Enjoy the day off.
Happy Labor Day. πΊπΈ
