Sometimes, we make sacrifices and do things out of the goodness of our hearts, not realizing that God is preparing us for something bigger.

We just have to be willing to be in the room.

Everybody wants the accolades. Everybody wants to be recognized, to stand out, and to be the one everybody notices. But sometimes, there is just as much value in being present without needing to be the center of attention.

Sometimes, God needs you in the room to learn, to observe, to build relationships, and to prepare for what He has next for you.

You may think you’re just showing up to serve someone else, but God may be positioning you for your own next level.

Stop being so focused on being seen that you miss the blessing of being in the room.

You don’t always have to be the star. Sometimes, you just need to be in the room. 🙏🏽

The Showroom Is More Than a Showroom

When you walk into our showroom, I want you to feel something.

I want you to see possibility.

Because this space represents so much more than beautiful furniture and accessories. It represents a vision that started years ago—one that Alex and I dreamed about, built together, and continued to grow.

We didn’t just want to create a place where you could come in and buy a sofa or a dining table.

We wanted to create an experience.

A place where you could walk in and say, “I can see this in my home.”

Where you could sit down, touch the fabrics, see the finishes, experience the scale of the furniture, and begin to imagine what your own space could become.

And for me, that’s what design has always been about.

It’s not just about making a room beautiful. It’s about creating a space that feels like you.

This showroom is one of the many reminders that sometimes the things you prayed for don’t arrive looking exactly like you imagined—but when you look around, you realize…

God was building something all along.

And this?
This is part of the vision.

Tranquil Designs Home.
Where design becomes an experience.

This office transformation was especially meaningful to me because this client, Veronica, has trusted me with her home for years. My husband and I first walked into her home years ago to design her living room and bedroom, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being trusted with so many different spaces in her home.

This project carried a little more emotion for me than most. But I knew I had to honor the vision, honor the relationship, and finish what we started.

We transformed this open room into a beautiful, elevated office by:

Enclosing the space with custom glass
Adding statement wallpaper
Installing new drapery
Adding a new light fixture
Fresh paint
Layering in furniture, art, accessories and greenery
Creating a space that feels intentional, sophisticated and completely her

Veronica, thank you for continuing to trust me, trust my vision, and trust the process. It is never lost on me what a privilege it is when someone allows me into their home and trusts me to help bring their vision to life.

I hope this office brings you joy, inspiration and many productive moments for years to come.

Tranquil Designs — where we don’t just design spaces, we create spaces that tell your story.
