Gentry Public Library

Gentry Public Library The library is staffed by two full-time employees and one part-time employee. Annual funds come from the Gentry United Way for the purchase of new materials.

Gentry Public Library’s mission is to promote intellectual freedom, inspire lifelong learning, and enrich the community by offering cultural and recreational opportunities while increasing awareness of the library’s resources and the city’s unique assets. The Gentry Public Library is administered by the City of Gentry and supported by the Gentry Public Library Association. Book sales, memorial donations, and private and corporate donations provide additional funding. The City of Gentry contributes the staff's salaries and provides all financial support for operations and maintenance of the library.
