I returned for round 2! In 2025 we did some work in this finished basement to extend the slab into the unfinished portion for a storage room. We also did a slab in preparation for this bathroom addition and kitchenette. Turns out, we added some other little projects to the scope as well!

First of all, thank you to Brandi of Kidder Plumbing LLC, Gen 1:3 Electric , and Mr. Ice Guy for their help in getting this space roughed in and inspections passed! Then it was up to me to finish it out with a subway tile shower from The Onyx Collection, Inc.- timeless style with groutless maintenance! A Kohler toilet and vanity from Lowe's Home Improvement kept such a small area feeling spacious while functional. The Sherwin-Williams Duration paint on the ceiling and walls will stand up to the humidity of hot showers (if you are in the City of Siloam Springs area and need paint, I highly recommend talking to Shelby at SW, she's the woman!).

Then I added this kitchenette. Customized black cabinetry provides plenty of storage and makes the antique gold hardware pop. The Old Mill brick backsplash and hickory shelves bring natural roughness to contrast with the smooth cabinets and quartz countertop from Countertop World, LLC.

S&G Carpet and More installed new carpet on the stairs and Jeff Arnold of House & Hinge, LLC expertly installed a new interior 15-lite door in place of the old exterior door at the top to tie this space into the rest of the home. (He also installed the bathroom door)

Lastly, Colby and his crew at Country Cabinets (479 640 8814- because when they say "country", they mean we don't even do social media country!) fabricated this custom built-in library to convert the dining room into book nook. Jesse of Bib's Painting came in a knocked out a glass-like coat of Renner paint and clear coated the stained shelving. They did the hard part. I finished it up with USB capable outlets and installed the gallery lights at the top.

Quite a lot of work, but I am very pleased with how it all came together. Let me know how we did, and I look forward to working with you on your project!

Another remodel wrapped up!
The original layout was dated and not very practical, so I reworked the space to make it more functional, modern, and enjoyable for the homeowners (and their doggos, too!).

Here’s what we changed:

- A redesigned shower featuring an Onyx Collection shower pan for a durable, easy-to-clean surface, paired with larger subway-style tile. Thanks to Nic Kelley of Kelley Stone & Tile for the tile work!

- A spacious alcove tub that opens up the layout and creates the perfect spot for artwork or floating shelves between the tub and shower.

- Updated plumbing with new Delta Faucet valves, expertly installed by Brandi of Kidder Plumbing LLC

- A refreshed vanity featuring new shaker-style doors from Country Cabinets (479-640-8814), finished with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane for a clean, durable look.

- Quartz countertops with undermount sinks and widespread Delta Sandover faucets to complete the updated vanity.

- The finishing touches: Eventide walls in the main bathroom, Shoji White in the water closet, a new KOHLER toilet, and modern 12x24 floor tile.

The result? A cleaner, more modern look and a layout that makes much better use of the available space!
What do you think of the new layout? Would you have made the same changes? Let me know in the comments!

A light kitchen refresher and LVP flooring throughout the house. This is a customer who I have worked with before and it is always a pleasure to work for again- unfortunately, I think they've remodeled the entire house now 😆

Thomas of Maker Cabinets modified a 90° corner upper to gain more storage in a 45° cabinet, moved the fridge cabinet forward for more accessibility, and modified some lower cabinets into drawer banks. He also swapped the door fronts out for HDF slab doors for a more modern look.

Then Jesse of Bib's Painting laid down some awesome coats of paint that will definitely last longer than the original factory finish.

My son and I installed LVP throughout the areas, installed new base shoe, and installed a blind corner pullout and custom pan rack. Let me know what you think!
