A fresh batch of baked goods from Harvest & Hope Farm Kitchen has been delivered this morning!
🍞 6 loaves of Honey Sandwich Bread
🍔 3 packages of Homestead Burger Buns
🧄 2 packages of Garlic Herb Rolls
🍯 2 packages of Honey Butter Rolls

And still a few OG Cinnamon Rolls available.

Normally you'll find our products displayed in the cabinet, but with so many wonderful bakers bringing fresh items to the market this week, some of our products may be placed in different areas throughout the store. If you don't see them in their usual spot, be sure to look around for the Harvest & Hope logo and the Bible verse on each package.

This photo is the kind of morning that reminds me to slow down before the world starts demanding my attention.
The sun is just beginning to break through the trees, the garden is quiet, and for a few moments everything seems still. No deadlines. No noise. No rushing. Just a reminder that God's mercies are new every morning.
As I sit drinking my coffee and watch the light stretch across the grass, I can't help but think about how much God has carried me through to bring me to this place. The struggles I never thought I'd survive. The prayers whispered through tears. The seasons of waiting when I couldn't see what He was doing. Yet here I am, surrounded by blessings I once only prayed for.
These quiet moments remind me that not every blessing is found in the big things. Sometimes it's the sunrise through the trees, the garden waking up, the peaceful stillness before the day begins, and the opportunity to simply say, "Thank You, Lord."
Thank You for what I have. Thank You for what You've brought me through. Thank You for the strength You gave me when I didn't think I had any left. And thank You for the day ahead.

May we all take a moment this morning to slow down, breathe deeply, count our blessings, and remember the One who made them possible.

No strawberries this weekend! Going to do some shading to the beds today and maybe that will bring some blooms on! The heat is not friendly to strawberries!

A quick update from our strawberry patch at Harvest & Hope. 🍓

The past few weeks of heavy rain have been tough on our strawberries. While the plants are still producing, the excess moisture has caused quite a few berries to spoil before they could fully ripen. Unfortunately, we've had to discard more berries than we'd like.

The good news is that the patch is still slowly giving, and we're beginning to see more berries coming on. We may only have a few pints available at a time right now, but we're hopeful that by the end of the week we'll be back to bringing a couple of fresh-picked pints each week.

That's the reality of small-scale growing—sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. We appreciate your patience and support as we work through the wet weather.

As always, our berries are grown with no pesticides, protected with netting that keeps the birds out while still allowing the bees to do their important work.

My house enters “survival mode” every spring while I’m outside emotionally attached to basil plants and checking tomatoes like they’re toddlers. 😂🍅
