I mean actual meals.
What if the grocery store just… didn’t open tomorrow? Or the power went out, and you couldn’t use your fridge? No warning. Just whatever’s sitting in your kitchen right now.
So I decided to put my own pantry to the test.
I pulled everything out. Counted the cans. The rice. The pasta. Then I sat down and figured out how many real dinners I could actually make.

Need dinner but do NOT want to stand over the stove? 😂🙋‍♀️
This creamy Oven Chipotle Chicken Pasta is smoky, cheesy, easy, and made 100% from pantry ingredients.
Dump it in a baking dish, pour in the hot water, cover it, and let the oven do the work.

You stocked the beans. You stocked the rice. You stacked cans to the ceiling. 👀
But… how are you opening them when the power goes out? 😂
I finally ditched the old-school can opener for a safety can opener that leaves NO sharp edges, keeps the lid out of your food, and doesn’t need power.
It’s one of those tiny pantry upgrades you don’t think about until you REALLY need it.
Food storage is useless if you can’t get into the food. 😬
