The original upper was built by OCS back in 2018 and last year a pool was added. So, to connect them, a new deck was built with a ramp to accommodate wheel chair acces. The new deck is a pressure treated deck that is screwed down. The railing on the existing deck was updated from pressure treated railing to black Trex Select railing. That same railing is also on the new deck. To meet code and add security, a locking gate was installed at the top of the ramp so no kiddos can get in the pool unexpectedly. The homeowner is having the entire deck stained in about 2 months, after new deck dries out, so everything will match nicely. Overall, very happy with the end result.

Out with the old and in with the new! Brand new fresh build of this deck which features 12" on center joist framing for added support, Trex Select decking in Whiskey Barrell, RDI vinyl railing and white pvc fascia and stair risers. Hidden fasteners are used for a clean look.

Unfortunately when I tore the old deck down, improper flashing from the deck built by the builder created a significant amount of water damage. Removal of the siding was required and several sheets of exterior sheathing had to be replaced. Once that was repaired, proper flashing was installed so the wall was ready for the installation of the deck.

Overall, the finished product looks great and the homeowner will get many many years of enjoyment out of their outdoor living space.

Here is another master bathroom that was just completed. Removed old tub, shower, vanity and closet and installed all new fixtures. The vanity is 72" long with a drawer cabinet in the middle and an 18" x 90" linen cabinet next to it. The shower is a new custom walk in unit (42" w x 72" l) with built in niche and corner shelves. The shower floor is 1" round Penny tiles, the walls are 12" x 24" polished ceramic to mimic marble stone, and the floor is 12" x 24" ceramic tile that looks like slate. The floor is heated and controlled by a digital programmable thermostat. New vanity lights and lights over the shower were installed and are controlled by dimmer switches. An exhaust fan was also added to remove humidity. Homeowner has a little touch up paint work to do and than it will be ready to go. Overall, very happy with the finished product. Here is a builder's grade bathroom that needed an update. You can see the before pictures at the end of the photos and there wasn't much there to begin with. But it gives the visual transformation of this smaller bathroom and how much it was improved.

Unfortunately, this room had very little to no storage. A new 18" linen cabinet along with a new 42" vanity with drawers was installed to significantly increase the available storage while providing a good sized vanity top. The new vanity/linen combo is the same size as the original, just a more useful combination of cabinetry.

The vanity has a lighted and heated LED mirror hanging over it that is also dimmable. The fixtures in this bathroom are Delta Champagne Bronze, which accents the Grey cabinets and white tile very well.

The tub/shower area received a new Kohler tub, ceramic tiled walls, custom lighted niche (dimmable), and light in ceiling over the tub (also dimmable).

The tiles on the walls are 8" x 20" and the floor/niche tiles are 2" hexagon in a matte finish so they are nonslip. The color of the grout is Platinum.

As you can see, the theme here is white tile, Grey cabinets with the Champagne Bronze hardware and it really all comes together nicely.

The homeowner wanted to update the old all in one fiberglass tub/shower unit with a new tub, tile, niche and glass shower door. Once the old was removed, new plumbing controls were installed, the new tub went in, walls got prepped/waterproofed for tile and than the tile was installed. The niche was built after the side walls were tiled so it could be placed in a position where full tiles were on each side and the top/bottom fell into the brick pattern. Little details like this make it look very professional, symmetrical, and not just thrown anywhere in the wall. Finally, a new glass shower door was installed to complete this update. Very happy with the result of this project.

Wow, was this a chilly build for December in PA! This project consisted of building a shed roof over an existing deck. The sun is brutal in the summer and the deck is almost unusable on hot days. With the new roof, the homeowners will be able to enjoy this outdoor space almost year round. The roof is 17' deep x 28' long with an open span of 26', so no posts in the middle. Construction involved a large laminated beam, 7" x 18" x 28' sitting on 8" x 8" pressure treated columns and the roof rafters are #1 premium grade 2 x 10 framing lumber spaced 12" on center for added strength. The underside is finished with vinyl soffit, gable ends are covered with matching vinyl siding, and the beam and columns are wrapped in white PVC trim. There are (4) 6" LED lights, a ceiling fan and a light over the grilling area off to the side of the deck. Overall, very happy with the final result and the owners will enjoy this outdoor space for many years to come.

This bathroom just received a nice facelift after 25 years of the builder's grade cabinetry and fiberglass tub insert. New 12" x 24" tile was laid on the floor along with a new custom vanity and linen cabinet. A new Kohler fiberglass tub replaced the old insert. The tub walls are a cast polymer product made by Luicana Design based in Boyertown. It is a very durable and long lasting material that offers a nice alternative to tile. There are no grout lines and it comes in a wide variety of colors, styles and patterns. Just a little painting to be done and this bathroom will be good to go!

Just finished a complete rebuild with this beautiful 14' x 28' deck with a set of stairs from the driveway and ramps to the yard. The old deck was completely removed, new footers, framing, decking and railing were all installed. Decking is pressure treated 5/4" x 6" boards with RDI white vinyl railing. The top of the steps there is a matching gate to keep the pups in. The look of the pressure treated decking in the woods just makes for a nice warm feel yet the vinyl railing helps keep maintenance to a minimum.

Out with the old and in with the new! Here is a new Trex deck in the color Jasper from the Trex Lineage line with white pvc fascia. The railing is Trex Transcend in Classic White with black round aluminum balusters. As with all of O.C.S. decks, the deck frame is 12" on center for added strength as well as the use of hidden fasteners.
