We Love our County parks!
My wife and I both grew up playing in them and now we’re helping to ensure our kids get to do the same. Many of the trees in our parks are from an older generation and in order to keep our parks as beautiful as they are, it’s important that a new generation is planted. That’s why we decided to donate 85 trees from our nursery last fall to the County Parks Department to be spread throughout Gillette.
I’d also like to give a huge shoutout to our incredible CCPR staff who planted all of those trees and are the real unsung heroes of keeping these places beautiful!

This recognition is very well deserved. Vicki and Kati have personally taught me so much over the last few years — everything from choosing the right perennials and annuals to proper selection and variety of trees and perennials. Their passion for plants and their willingness to share their knowledge truly sets them apart.

They’ve built something really special with their locally owned business, bringing not just beautiful, high-quality plants to our community, but also guidance and encouragement to those of us who love caring for them. So many of the trees, perennials, and landscapes I help maintain today are there because of their expertise and support. I’m incredibly grateful for all they’ve done for this community.

Exciting news for The Plant Shack, we were voted the #1 Garden Center for 2025!
We are so grateful for the support that we’ve had from this community over the last 30 years and we look forward to seeing you all again soon for our 31st year!

We love our pets. And that’s why I offer free cat rescue as a way to give back to our community. Cats are great at climbing up trees but not so great at getting back down. So if your cat or other pets are ever stuck in a tree don’t hesitate to reach out. Please don’t take the risk of falling from a tree. I have all of the necessary equipment to safely retrieve your pets.
