Trends Furniture was founded in 1996 by Jerry and Sue Ristesund. It originated as a used furniture and antique store, under the name Trends Consignment Mall. In 1998, we moved to our current location on Hwy 59 and changed our name to Trends Furniture. In January of 2000, we departed the sale of used furniture and antiques, and transitioned to offering new furniture and mattresses. The second generation of the family took over in 2014 when we transitioned ownership to Dan & Rebekah Bane. Even through all these changes, the focus of our store has been to provide quality service and products to people in Northeast Wyoming. We always want to be able to give back to our community and continue to make our hometown a Better, Better Place to Live.

Its a great week to snag a summer treat!

🍓✨ Introducing Path of Hope ✨🍓

We are honored to partner with YES House in celebrating two incredible milestones: the 50th Anniversary of YES House and the 25th Anniversary of the YES House Foundation!

Created by the Youth Advocacy Council, Path of Hope is more than just an ice cream flavor, it’s a story of resilience, growth, and perseverance. These young adults brain stormed a couple ideas for ice cream and this one was perfect we thought. It was so wonderful to listen to them as they talked through different flavors and what they could represent.

This special flavor features strawberry ice cream, fudge variegate, rocky graham cracker crunch: Each ingredient represents a different part of life’s journey they told us:

🍫 The fudge swirl symbolize the chaos and overwhelming moments we all face.

🛣️ The Rocky Road reminds us that life’s path is rarely smooth and often filled with obstacles and challenges.

🍓 The strawberry ice cream represents the sweetness, growth, resilience, and victories that come from pushing through those difficult times.

✨ This flavor is exclusive to the YES House Anniversary Celebration and will only be available at YES House on June 17! Don’t miss your chance to try this one-of-a-kind creation.

Our community is really good about showing up when there is a need! If you've got any of these items you can part with please take them to Council of Community Services.

Let's help feed our neighbors in need this summer! The Council of Community Services has shared an urgent need for easy-to-prepare meals, pasta sauce, and snacks for local families. During the summer months, when children are out of school, the demand for kid-friendly foods that are simple to prepare increases significantly.

Suggested donation items include:
Cereal
Snack foods
Pasta sauce
Microwave or stove-top macaroni and cheese
SpaghettiOs
Chef Boyardee products
Complete microwave meals
Other easy-to-prepare meal options

Please consider donating any of these items to our collection wagon. All donations will be delivered to the CCS pantry and where they will be distributed to families throughout our community.

Monetary donations are also welcome. If you would like to contribute financially, please note "Council of Community Services" or "CCS" on your offering envelope, and your gift will be directed to this ministry.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping provide practical support to families in need. Your gifts are a tangible expression of Christ's love at work in our community!
