This week we replaced a damaged 15-foot section of gutter and installed leaf protection across the entire second-story gutter system. Not only does this help reduce maintenance and keep debris out, but it also helps ensure water is being directed where it belongs year-round.

What makes this job especially meaningful to me is who trusted us with it.

If you’ve been considering gutter guards but worry about overflow, appearance, or durability, this system checks all the boxes.

TALK ABOUT A GAME CHANGER. 💪💧

We’ve been looking into adding the Alu-Rex gutter protection system as an option for our customers, and after seeing it in person, I can definitely understand why it’s becoming so popular.

Unlike traditional leaf guard systems that rely on separate gutter hangers, this system becomes part of the gutter itself, providing continuous support along the entire run while protecting against leaves, seeds, and debris.

One of the things that impressed me most is the dual-layer perforated design. The openings are offset, meaning debris that might make it through the first layer won’t line up with the second layer underneath.

But the real eye-opener? Strength.

This system is rated to support up to 425 pounds per linear foot. That’s not a typo.

I’ve personally watched an Amish installer hang from the gutter during an installation demonstration. While I wouldn’t recommend testing your gutters that way at home 😅, it definitely shows the level of support this system provides.

Wrapped up a full gutter replacement on this beautiful home in one of my personal favorite colors — Rainware Bronze. 🤎💧

This project wasn’t just about replacing old gutters. We also made a few changes to the downspout locations to improve water management around the property.

If you notice some paint discoloration in a few of the photos, that’s where previous downspouts had been installed for years. Rather than simply putting everything back in the same locations, we worked with the homeowner to reroute drainage and create a better long-term solution. The homeowner already has matching paint and plans to touch up those areas as part of the project.

The Rainware Bronze paired perfectly with the blue siding, and the finished product turned out great.

When this chiropractor’s office reached out, they were dealing with water getting into the building and staining running down the exterior wall.

After tracking down the issue, we replaced:
💧 20’ of gutter
💧 20’ of downspout
💧 A missing miter
💧 The PVC connection at the base

Not every job requires replacing an entire gutter system. Sometimes it’s finding the problem area, fixing it correctly, and making sure water goes where it’s supposed to.

A small section of failing gutter can cause big headaches.

Wrapped up this beautiful two-day roofing project yesterday 💪

Installed a textured burgundy metal roof, and honestly… I can’t get over how good this color turned out on this home. The more we worked on it, the more I loved it.

There’s just something about a clean metal roof in the sunlight 🔥
