Chalily is a home and garden store selling beauty. Celebrating Water in the Garden. Joe Summers is co-owner and has 25 years of experience in the pond field. Joe is a Horticulturist by training but developed a love for water gardens while working at Missouri Botanical Garden. His focus at the Garden was the giant Victoria Water Lilies. His studies took him to the Amazon Rainforest and even produce

d the only hybrid Victoria in Missouri Botanical Garden history; aptly he named it Victoria ‘Adventure’. Joe has served as President of the St. Louis Water Gardening Society and currently is the Societies Historian. Prior to Chalily’s creation Joe was Vice President of Anjon Manufacturing. Anjon is a national company which produces pond liner, pumps and filtration units. In spring 2011, Joe and his wife Tonya opened Chalily. We have a broad selection of pond supplies: treatments, pumps, filtration, fish, fountains and the single best selection of water plants in the Midwest. Services we offer:

Full Service retail store with everything thing you need for success. Rental: Chalily rents Pond Vacuums, Complete cleanout kits and the best kept secret of all, the pond water meter. Construction, we offer full install of a new water feature or a re-build or expansion of an older feature. We offer complete landscape design and install as well. If you want a fire pit, retaining wall or patio please let us build your project. Our estimates are always free; please allow us to be your Water Garden & Landscape Paradise Creations single source. Maintenance: Pond cleanouts, leak repair, fall netting or a scheduled monthly visit can all be handled by our team. Landscape maintenance, mulching, leaf removal etc. can all be accomplished too. We are often asked about our name Chalily, we have two wonderful children. Charles and Lily, and thus we came up with Chalily for our store name.

Sunday Spotlight: Yerba Mansa 🌿 This plant has a long history of use by Native tribes across the Southwest and California for teas, tonics and plant-based remedies. At Chalily, we grow it at the pond’s edge for its white cone-shaped blooms and lush foliage, which can develop pink splashes after a cold snap 🩷
