Hey farm kids family!
We hope you guys have had a wonderful summer. We haven’t forgotten about you all!
The former plot on Union Hills is currently being utilized for a research project.

Teacher Lexie been working hard to secure a new location and to organize a relaunch. We will inform everyone of updates as soon as possible! Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see everyone soon 👋🏽

Flicks in the Field: A Harvest of Movie Magic!

Saturday, June 1st @ 7 PM (come early to let the kids play/wind down before movie)
Movie starts @ 7:30 PM

Get ready for a cinematic experience like no other! Join us at 'Flicks in the Field' where we'll be changing pace of our Farm Kid’s field of vegetables into a unique outdoor movie theater. Bring a blanket and a kiddie pool or chairs and get cozy as you watch a movie under the stars. The perfect setting for a family fun night or a date night with a twist. Enjoy the movie, the fresh air, and the stunning views of the surrounding vegetables. It's a night to remember!
We will be providing: popcorn, optional flavors to add, popsicles, cupcakes and beverages. Refreshments will be organic and all-natural.
Cost: $5 per person; contact us for discounted rate of families larger than 4

**As per many parents request, due to the heat conditions, we will be postponing lessons for the summer break.**

BUT..we wanted to still be available for your farm needs and to get the farm kids together. We decided we will have multiple events and gatherings in town and out, open farm hours, day trips and overnight opportunities that will be available for you all to join in. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER DETAILS!!

FLOWER POWER! 🌸🌼🌺🌻
Shout out to everyone who was able to make it out this week! We had fun learning the importance of flowers in the garden including companion planting and pest control. The Farm Kids got to enjoy a snack-tivity that they built their own flowers too!

Hey y’all!

We’re here to announce the next month’s classes. Notice there is NO CLASS for Tuesday the 2nd!
At different points this month, farmer Ryan will be at our sponsor farm Bakers Creek in Missouri and teachers Ray and Lexie will be in Costa Rica for a permaculture design program so we will have a guest speaker this month, Bryan from Earth Grower LLC 🌱🧑🏽‍🌾

Thank you to the day 1 farm kids and the new faces that showed up and showed out on the farm. We had some big fun with "Bug Day!" There was hands on learning with worms and then we relocated them to the farm. We got to plant some Cal Sweet Watermelon seeds, harvest some previously planted radishes, learn about beneficial bugs that help the garden and ones that can be pests. AND we got to make "ants on the forest floor logs" for a snack.

We are looking forward to April classes, hope you can join us and become a farm club kid too!
