Me personally, I prefer water canning. While I’m not afraid of pressure cookers, putting glass in a pressure cooker never seemed safe to me.

Okra gets a bad rep, in my opinion.

It isn't the tastiest veggie, for sure, but its certainly not the worst. If you've never had it, its worth growing for a season and just digging up some recipes. The trick is plucking the okra before it gets too long and tough!

Here's a recipe you may like to try, and always remember to soak your skewers for an hour before adding the food!
