Green Timber Works Custom Timber Frame Structures Makaio Maher has fifteen years of experience building timberframe homes, barns, pavilions, and other structures.

He also specializes in tile work, cabinetry, greenhouses, and small scale excavation. Every creation is a work of art. Makaio is also the regional axe throwing champion of the Timberframers' Guild.

Visiting Sterling College where we raised the Alfond Draft Horse Barn in 2014 as well as other timberfame projects where Makaio was a guest instructor. Many of our long time friends came to the Northeast Kingdom through Sterling as teachers and students, and sadly it has closed. Hopefully it finds new purpose and can continue to be a place where natural resources and the beauty of Vermont can be experienced first hand. Sterling College
