My first and second run at making a spider. The first ones I tried to do, I messed up horribly, but these two came out really good. I like the long legs one, which is the second test run, better.

I’m super excited about this project, it started out with one plan and when trying to work with the wire I discovered that the wires were not long enough for them all the reach the frame of the hoop, so it got set to the side for me to deal with later, or break down later. Now when I first cut all the wires they seemed way more than long enough, but as I started to move forward with twisting the trunk of the tree, they drastically shortened and became to short to continue as planned.
After joining a new group last week I began seeing other options on how the tree can be done and it inspired me to pick it back up and try a new plan. I finished the tree over the weekend and it turned out amazing, way better than what I feared when starting it. I’m so happy with how it worked out. Last night the sun catcher stones came in so I can finish it. Very exciting!!! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!!

I’m so proud of this little creation, made it with no pattern, just an idea and image in my mind. Using my knowledge I learned from past projects, of increases and decreases I was able to come up with this cute little hat. My plan is to make her a little witches hat to go with her dress for her first Halloween, and this was my test run. Turned out pretty good. Now to get the colors I need for the next one.
