Something I believe firmly in is stubbing out in copper or brass ni**le instead of pex, for connections.

It has become a new trend to stub pex directly out of the wall with a pex stop. This leaves the customer with floppy connections that are sensitive to uv rays.

A stronger copper stub out is still the way imo. And I am afraid that I am one of the only plumbers in the valley still doing it this way. They save money, but still charge big bucks for “professional” installation.

My van may still be ugly, but I am out here doing my best to provide quality plumbing from a time before the pex or expensive press copper fittings. When plumbers soldered and provided stronger stubouts 😆

My low hourly rates are also still from that time as well as I build this business.

I have some vinyl to try out on the hood, van is stocked. Things are rolling. A half dozen service calls already done, and open for more.

20 years of plumbing experience. I am great with water heaters and complex problems. I also have years of experience in service repairing and replacing any plumbing fixtures you have.

Support a disabled run company. My autism (lvl 1 without intellectual impairment) has been a wall that I have to forever try to overcome. It didn’t stop me from running large commercial jobs as foreman in Portland or progressing as an accomplished plumber; but it has made it very difficult to work for anyone else.

It isn’t much, but it is a start.

I am ready for service calls, water heater replacement, plumbing projects. Etc.

My background in plumbing includes:

I have mastered every area of plumbing that I could get my hands on. I have installed hundreds of water heaters including over 50 on-demand water heaters.

I have plumbed more homes in the rogue valley than I can count. From tiny homes, to 40,000 sq ft mansions. I have experience with all major brands of faucets and valves, toilets, sinks.

I have experience with plumbing commercial kitchens start to finish, as well as years of service plumbing that included commecial kitchens often.

I have even been contracted to run irrigation in large scale commecial gardens.

As a side skill I also have the ability to draft up things in AutoCAD. Anything 2d from site plans, garden layouts, etc. I have years of experience drafting homes and commercial buildings, I could be an affordable option to get projects worked out before sending my plans to an engineer or architect/home designer that can push it through plan check.
