🚨 MOUNTAIN PINE BEETLE ALERT 🚨
Mountain Pine Beetle (MPB) activity is increasing across the Front Range, they aren't just in the mountains anymore. Trees suffering from lack of water are less able to resist beetles. That's why we highly recommend proactive treatments AND supplemental watering.

Share with your neighbor's and Friends! When neighbors work together, we see the best results. Treating trees across an entire neighborhood helps reduce beetle populations and slows the spread of infestations. If you have pine or spruce trees, now is the time to act. Please don't wait. Estimates are always FREE.

Your trees can’t tell you they’re struggling but they’ll show you.
Watch for these common signs of stress:
• Discolored leaves
• Wilting or curling leaves
• Early leaf drop
• Cracks in the bark
• Sparse canopy
In Colorado, drought stress is one of the biggest culprits. Consistent, deep watering can make all the difference. Not sure what your tree needs? We’ll take a look and help you get it back on track.

This crabapple is already producing fruit nearly 6 weeks early! Even with a late freeze, some thinning may happen, but not by much. This season is clearly shifting early. That changes everything from pest timing to pruning decisions.

That shrub didn’t just “fail”…..it was taken out from below. 🕵️‍♂️
Voles (often mistaken for mice) are small, burrowing rodents that feed on roots, bark, and plant crowns, especially in landscaped beds with mulch or ground cover. I just got back from an estimate where one shrub in an otherwise healthy row has declined, the root system was gone, and the shrub was dug up. Classic vole damage.

Here’s what to watch for:
🕵️‍♂️ Sudden plant decline with no visible disease above ground
🕵️‍♂️ Shallow tunnels or “runways” in mulch or grass
🕵️‍♂️ Gnawed bark at the base of shrubs and trees
🕵️‍♂️ Missing or severely damaged root systems when plants are dug up

Voles stay active year-round and can cause the most damage unnoticed during cooler months. Early detection is key to protecting your landscape investment.

If something looks off in your beds or lawn, it’s worth taking a closer look. Sometimes the problem is just under the surface. 👻
