CORAL TREE HEALTH ALERT 🚨

We are continuing to see Coral Stem Borer activity affecting Coral Trees throughout Santa Barbara and surrounding areas. This lesser-known pest can impact both young and mature trees, often causing branch dieback, canopy decline, and damage hidden within stems and branches.

If your Coral Tree appears stressed or is experiencing unusual dieback, it may be worth having it evaluated by a Certified Arborist.

Lichens on tree bark are often misunderstood, but in most cases they are completely harmless. They are a natural part of the environment and typically indicate clean air and normal moisture conditions, not a disease! What matters more is the overall health of the tree!

Thank you, La Sumida Nursery, for hosting Certified Arborist Karen Christman for the Citrus & Avocado Tree Care Basics class!
