Our last harvest for the 2021 growing season was stellar and is on the roadside stand throughout the weekend!!!Please stop in for one more bouquet and to sign up for 2022 bouquet subscriptions, upcoming events and dahlia tuber sales. We’ll also be featuring dried flower wreaths, bunches and arrangements at the stand for the coming weeks. We operate our stand on the honor system and have had such a good experience with our many honest customers throughout the season. Great thanks to you all!!! flowers

Dahlias bloom late in the season which makes it hard to ever get enough. They usually get hit by a killing frost while still in full bloom, some years as early as mid September! We’re at the point this 2021 growing season where every day without a frost is such a joyous bonus! These are some of my favorite varieties, but there are many more to choose from! Dahlias, along with ageratum, ammi, various celosia, cosmos, straw flower and zinnia combine to make arrangements for every mood. Hoping for lots more days in our growing season this year!! The roadside cart is overflowing with gorgeous bouquets!

It’s definitely dahlia time! And Zinnia time! And celosia time! So many flowers we harvested by the wheelbarrow full!!
A bountiful harvest today before the storm. Thanks to for hours of cutting. With the heat and humidity we felt sure that the flowers were opening so fast we could have started at the beginning and cut an equal amount again! Lots of beautiful bouquets at the roadside cart!
