The Goshen Garden Club has been honored with the Membership Incentive Award from the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs! This award recognizes our members for helping us grow our club by an incredible 42% this past year.

This achievement is a true testament to the passion and dedication of our members and the wonderful support of the Goshen community. Your enthusiasm helps us create a positive impact and a greener future for everyone.

Amur Honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii) is native to eastern Asia and was introduced into North America in 1896. Planted originally for ornamental use, and later as a wildlife cover and for soil erosion control. North America soon learned just how detrimental this invasive species is.

Make sure your yards and gardens are tended to, this highly invasive plant takes over yards in just one season!

🌹This month at our meeting we had a very special presentation! One of our wonderful members (Natalie) showed us how she makes her homemade soap! Natalie is our newest member and a woman of MANY talents!

🌹Recently she told us a little secret she uses in her garden and having tried it at home. All I can say is that I'm excited to see how my carrots turn out this year!

🌹Thank you Natalie for the presentation and the amazing food you provided for this months meeting!
