This roof in Greenville had three layers — steel over asphalt shingles over original cedar shake, plus spaced decking underneath. Not exactly a “tear-off and go” situation.
✔️ Full 3-layer tear-off
✔️ Removed steel, shingles, and cedar shake
✔️ Installed new OSB sheathing to eliminate spaced decking and bring it up to code
✔️ Finished with CertainTeed Landmark Pro – Burnt Sienna
