One of my favorite parts of decluttering is uncovering little pieces of history. My clients know if I find an old receipt or newspaper, I’m stopping to check the dates. I just love numbers!

Today’s find: The Chronicle-Telegram from September 1988. And wow… imagine buying a car for these prices again! 🚗💭

It’s amazing how organizing and decluttering can uncover memories, stories, and snapshots of a completely different time.

SO BIZARRE! My client tried the finger snap, and it didn’t work. But mine did! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Closet transformation for their teenage son 🙌

After trying a system that just didn’t stick, we took a step back and reworked everything to fit how he actually uses the space—and the difference is HUGE.

Before, the floor was crowded with boxes and random items, and there really wasn’t a clear “home” for anything. Now, everything has a place:• Clothes are hung up • Legos and craft items are contained in bins• Memory/sentimental items are stored up top where they’re safe but out of the way• And best of all… the floor is finally clear!

The goal wasn’t perfection—it was creating something he’ll actually maintain.

Proof that sometimes you have to try, fail, and adjust to find what really works 💪

One of my clients came up with this genius idea on the spot and it’s too good not to share. 👏 A coffee pod holder turned into the perfect storage for my character lids. It keeps them organized, visible, and easy to grab. I love when simple household items get a second life like this! 🧃🩵

Decluttering isn’t a one-time event — it’s a continuous habit.

While decorating for Easter, I realized how many extra items we’ve accumulated over the years (because… kids 🐣💛).

Every season seems to add more: baskets, filler, eggs, grass, decor. So I took one bin and edited it down — keeping what we truly use and love, and letting the rest go.

This entire pile is heading to a new home. I’ve had great luck posting items for FREE in local Facebook groups, and they’re usually picked up quickly. It blesses another family and clears space in ours.

Less clutter. Less overwhelm. More intention.

If you’re feeling buried in seasonal decor, start with just one bin or give me a call. 🩵🏠🐰

👟 Shoe storage glow-up!

This client had shoes piling up on the floor and overflowing bins — so we turned that clutter into a clean, easy-to-maintain system by mounting a hanging shoe rack directly on the wall instead of over the door.

Why this works so well:
✔️ Uses vertical space
✔️ Keeps the floor clear
✔️ Shoes are visible and easy to grab
✔️ No more digging through bins

Simple changes = big impact. Functional and tidy is always the goal 💙

🛒 I’ll link the exact shoe rack I used in the comments — it’s a great budget-friendly solution. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

This picture might be AI… but the results I create are 100% REAL 🙌

If only organizing a space was as easy as clicking a button! Until robots start picking up toys and sorting paperwork, I’ll be the one rolling up my sleeves and getting it done the real-life way 💪

Whether it’s closets, kitchens, playrooms, or the “I don’t even know where to start” rooms — that’s where I come in.
