An Important Reminder from The Handyman Crews ❤️‍🔥

On November 17, our family experienced a house fire — something we never thought would happen to us. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely 🙏 What caused the fire, however, is something we feel is extremely important to share.

It is critical to know that your builder followed code and completed the work correctly. In our case, due to code not being followed, there was a live electrical wire trapped between the wall sheathing and the aluminum siding ⚡️ Over time, that hidden issue turned into a very real and dangerous situation.

This is exactly why proper building practices, qualified inspections, and routine maintenance matter so much 🏠🔍 Many issues are completely invisible until it’s too late. Electrical, siding, and structural details must be done right the first time — shortcuts and missed steps can have serious consequences.

This is also why, at The Handyman Crews, we take so much pride in doing things correctly the first time. 💪🛠️ We believe in following code, not cutting corners, and treating every home as if it were our own. Your family’s safety and peace of mind should never be compromised to save time or money.
