My first painting was of Mary holding the Christ child. I still have the painting, even though it was painted when I was in 8th grade...some 35 years ago. Watercolor is my paint of choice, however, my technique results in an oil paint like finish. Instead of thinning the paint, I tend to load the brush and apply it generously. As an avid outdoorsman, I especially enjoy creating stunning silhouett
