Position Type: Seasonal / On-Call (Winter 2025–2026)
Compensation: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Overview
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our snow removal team for the 2026 winter season. This is an on-call position, meaning you must be available to work whenever a snow event occurs, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate snowplows, skid steers, tractors, or payloaders to clear parking lots and driveways.
Manual Labor: Use shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders to clear sidewalks, entryways, and stairs.
Safety: Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of pedestrians and the public.
Maintenance: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
De-Icing: Apply salt or liquid de-icing agents to designated areas.
Qualifications
Dependability: Must be on-call 24/7 during snow events.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
License: Valid Driver’s License required; CDL is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
Experience: Prior experience with snow removal or heavy equipment is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to the shop or job sites.
