Doing some cleaning. I have pond chemicals and used pond equipment for free. Skimmer boxes, strainer filter, air pump,two pond pools for quarantining your fish or to put in for a clean out. Will be available after 2pm today or after 5:30pm during the week for pick up. Anything not taken will be thrown out in a week.

Hard to see and about as big as a eye lash but plenty of fry from a spawn two
weeks ago . Should have plenty available for next year.

Come get them before they are all gone for the season. Need to shut the small
pond down for a few months for repairs.

After more than two weeks of keeping him in isolation and giving him a total of five injections he was put back into the pond. He has improved tremendously from the injections. Only issue the injection points created two ulcers that should gradually go away.

My largest Koi I had since 2006 developed an internal Bacteria infection. Grand Junction now has an exotic pet vet at Monument View Veterinary Hospital . Great to deal with and she came over the next day to the house. The best thing for internal infections is injectable antibiotics which you only can have a vet do. It’s been a week and I have seen some improvement with the koi.

I spoke to someone that has to re-home eight koi before Christmas because they are not able to take care of them. They are all around 8” or smaller. They are listed on Western slope craigslist for free. Trying to find them a good home so they don’t die. If you are interested then you can contact him thru craigslist or I can try contacting him again with your info.

Just a little bit of rain from the hot dry weather was just enough to begin the annual spawn. I have had the same weather setup induce the spawn many times through out the years.
