These seeds will be planted by neighbors across Grand Rapids who are growing food to share with their communities—and Garza Potting Shed is helping make that possible.

Work turns into a lot of fun, especially when we’re playing in the mulch! We’re crafting a special mix that not only retains moisture but also nourishes seedlings as they transition to pots.

Spring is officially here! Who’s ready for longer days, warmer weather and all those beautiful blooms! The first blooms of the year come from the Common Witch Hazel tree. These beautiful and vibrant yellow flowers are naturally shouting out, “Wake up, world! Spring is here!”

We are so excited to see all plants sprout and beautiful flowers to follow! What plants and flowers are you looking forward to seeing this season?
