Our featured artist this season is Jenny Christensen Ceramics!

Jenny is a ceramics lover and maker based in the Grand Rapids area and splits her time in Bellingham Washington. Jenny creates every day useful objects and adds a little twist to each using textures, glaze design, and dimensional additions. Her favorite thing to make is a perfectly scaled go-to vase for that grocery store bouquet or handful of flowers cut from the garden. Her chosen technique is hand building beginning with a slab, which her type B personality prefers over the wheel for its freedom in making organic unique shapes without the pressure of uniformity or perfection.
