Junior Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Construction
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator with experience in Commercial and Industrial Building Construction. This role will be responsible for managing the bid process for multiple projects simultaneously while also assisting project management staff with contract procurement and project coordination. The primary focus of this position is Pre-Construction Services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for projects.
• Distribute project documents to subcontractors.
• Compile and qualify subcontractor bids.
• Generate client bid documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs for scope qualification and RFPs.
• Collect and organize project documents for pre-construction and permitting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with team members and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in the following software:
o Sage CM (Construction Management Software)
o MS Project (Scheduling Software)
o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Pay: $14-$16 per hour DOE to start

Classification: Hourly Employee

Benefits: 3 sick days per year (Available after 90 days) and 1 week of vacation after 1 year of employment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Highly motivated self-starter who has a desire to learn and grow in the construction industry. This position works directly for the Chief Operation Officer assisting with managing a schedule, drafting documents, communicating with customers and vendors, providing administrative support in all aspects of daily operation.

Primary Job Tasks

• Answering phones with professionalism.

• Set up, coordination and management of Executive Schedule.

• Drafting documents using Microsoft word, excel and our internal CM software
as requested, including creating document templates, power points,
spreadsheets, etc.

• Establish meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes and notes at internal
and client meetings.

• Assisting with project accounting and vendor document control

• Processing Project Submittals, contracts and closeout documents.

Required Skills

• Requires a well organized individual who has proven track record of effectively
multi-tasking.

• Must have great phone communication skills, as well as written and verbal
communication.

• Must have experience effectively managing a calendar and time management.

• Must be able to quickly move from one task to the other while maintaining
accuracy

• Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

o Must be able to create templates

o Must be able to utilize excel for creating semi-complex spreadsheets.

o Must Be able to establish Power points and Marketing Documents

• Must easily adapt to new software both web-based and desktop based.

• Must posses basic understanding of construction company operations.

• Type at least 50 words per minute accurately.

Preferred Sills

• Experience working as Construction Administrator for a General Contractor.

• Experience Coordinating with Subcontractors.

• Experience Drafting Subcontracts, Change Orders, and RFI’s.

• Experience with basic Project Accounting Methods.

• Experience with Pre-liens and Lien Releases.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Individual with Commercial Construction Experience to join our team as a Bid Coordinator/Construction Administration Assistant. This position will assist in the Project Bid process for multiple projects at one time as well as assist Project Management Staff in Contract Procurement and Project Coordination. Check out these photos of the Inland Empire Cold Storage Facility! The owners have moved in and are fully operational! This facility includes a 42,000 SF tilt up building with 23,000 SF of cold storage, 4,000 SF of high end offices and the balance in dry storage. The building sits on just over 4 acres of developed site with concrete paving, landscape and site lighting. This is a ground up project, which was started in June of 2017.
