Meet the owners!

Eric was born and raised on a farm in Idaho County. After completing high school, he went on to Lewis Clark State College and attained a degree from the industrial tech school. In 1997, Eric began his employment at Stuivenga Vessey Drilling in Grangeville, Idaho as a Class 1 Drill Operator.

Today, Eric is Stuivenga Vessey Drilling’s Principal Driller, a position he acquired in early 2009. He is responsible for drill rig operations, estimating, quality control, scheduling and personnel. You have probably seen his red Chevy out and about. Eric has been a board member of the Idaho Ground Water Association since 2010, was President of the Board in 2014 and has also been a member of the Washington State Ground Water Association since 2010.

Joyce was born and raised in Craigmont Idaho. After completing high school, Joyce went on to the University of Idaho where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. Joyce had the tough job of raising 8 kids at home while Eric started his well drilling career.

Eric and Joyce Forsmann have owned Stuivenga Vessey since 2015.
