Wow what a busy week! Mother nature is finally giving us a taste of summer and Great planting weather. We still have a Great selection of quality plants ready for all of your gardening needs. We have seen many new customers looking for items other greenhouses are out of, so if you can't find something check us out. We also have potted fruits, raspberries, blueberries including pink lemonade, seeded grapes, seedless grapes, black berries, rhubarb, figs, and horseradish- $10.95-$14.95.

Looks like we won't have to water outside today, mother nature is taking care of that today for awhile, thanks saved us a couple hours of labor. Hopefully sunshine later this afternoon. We are open today and tomorrow, Memorial Day 10-6 for all of your planting needs.

Another Frost advisory, don't forget to bring in your plants or cover them up. Hopefully this is the last night for frost. We are ready for all of your spring planting, our greenhouses are loaded with all of your garden plants, bulk seed, fruit trees, flowering shrubs, hanging baskets, accent plants, and so much more! 1,000s to choose from. I am on urn detail so if you need one or you want to plant your own stop on by for that Special loved one. We had a Great response for our like share and comment, 87 people shared our post. Wow, can you believe next weekend is Memorial Weekend, a week earlier than normal, but we are loaded with plants ready for the cemetary, porch, garden, or deck. Check out the pictures and our ad, we have so much to offer from all of your gardening needs, to shrubs, fruit trees, peonies, roses, potted plants, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, rhubarb, proven winner pots, bulk seed plus so much more!

We are doing our like, share, and comment on this post again this year. Do all three and every Friday I will pick several people who will win a FREE hanging basket or a FREE flat of your choice. We had a Great turnout every week last year and gave away lots of product and many smiling faces! We had the pleasure of having a group of children from Newaygo Schools come out this week and pick out flowers to plant around the school grounds. Great Job Kids!

Happy Mother's Day! We are open today 10-6 if you need a last minute Mother's Day gift. We have so many items under $30.00 from gorgeous mixed hanging baskets, regular baskets, huge geraniums, flats of flowers, flowering shrubs, and also shrub roses, climbing roses, and tea roses, all priced between $22.95-$27.95. What a Deal!

We have teamed up with Fountain View assisted living of Grant for a fund raiser. They are selling coupons for $10.00 each for anything we sell here at Martens' Greenhouse and we are donating 20% to Fountain View. All you have to do is buy the coupons from them and come and shop whenever you want and support a Great cause! The flyer is in the pictures or call them at 231-834-8202.

Happy Mother's Day Weekend! We are open 9-6 today and 10-6 tomorrow. We have a Great selection for all of your Special moms. Happy Sunday folks! We have been working hard to get everything planted and ready for your gardens. Our opening day is Friday May 8th. We are still transplanting and moving plants around from our other greenhouses and as soon as the weather permits plants will go outside. We have a few 30s this week so if you have some plants that are sensitive don't forget to cover or bring them in. We have a truck load of fruit trees, ornamental trees and shrubs coming in this week too. Our seed potatoes, onion sets, asparagus roots and bulk seeds are here but not displayed yet, it is hard when we are planting in the same greenhouse that is our selling house, but we should be in good shape by the end of the week. I have loads of pictures of what we will be offering this year and this isn't everything so we will have a Great selection! If anyone is interested we have some strawberry plants from last year at a discounted price, more info on the last picture of this post. Hope you are as excited for warmer weather as we are and enjoy your Sunny Sunday!
