Fb asks whats on my mind. Well this has been alot lately. A few yrs back, i was offered 1.8 million for my business, my name, my tools, equipment and trucks. Along with the guys. I didnt take the deal because my guys would have taken a big pay cut to what they currently make. I bust my bum every single day to provide for my family and to have work so my guys can provide for theirs. Some days we are eating spam and rice. But when i can, im making sure my guys are eating steak. It reminds me of this quote i heard long ago from Micheal Jordan, "Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen" I could have taken a short cut and said sorry to my guys and sell. But i didnt. I didnt for them. At that time i built a company from completely nothing to 1.8 mil. Yet i said no cause my guys, my family are worth more than that.

Warm ups are coming again so this means we need to share this information again.

We are going to get rain and some melting temperatures in the next week. This means your roof is going to have very heavy loads from the weight of the ice. Please please rake off your roofs before then. ROOF MAINTENANCE is your responsibility and insurance companies will deny claims if damage is caused by ice dams or lack of maintenance.

If you do have issues or damage when the warm up comes we do provide emergency services and repairs. But we dont want you to have to do that. So again, clean off your roofs or call us and we can do it for you.

Many people dont realize that roof maintenance is as important as changing the oil in your car. "Ice and water" (ice shield) under shingles is not a fully effective way to prevent damage, its the first step, but never full proof. Clean gutters, proper ventilation, proper insulation, and snow removal is key to stopping damage during michigan winters.

Salt pucks are great but are getting hard to find right now also.
