UPDATE: My client visits (I do in home care also) took longer than expected today so I need to push this produce sale back to this afternoon/evening.
SORRY!! Not ideal I know with the Huskers playing today.

Produce sale: 4pm - 7pm

There will be limited supply of some things!!

I will have produce available Saturday at the Greenhouse. I will have cabbage, green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers ( bell and hot) & strawberries for sure.

There may be limited quantity of some produce at this time but I plan on keeping my garden going as long as possible so there will be lots more coming!!

I grow organically.. I only use neem oil and organic liquid fertilizer on my plants.

I need to harvest and am definitely wanting to have a regular Wednesday farmers market but I know some of my stuff won’t last until then. So, I DO PLAN on having a Farmer’s Market weekly on Wednesday (starting next week the 7th of September) from 4pm - 7pm!

Reaching out to get a feel for interest in having a weekly farmers market hosted at Root 310.

No charge for space/set up because I do not have enough outlets for any electrical needs etc.. so venders would have to provide their own resources in that aspect.

My greenhouse is pretty full at this time so there would be limited space to set up inside but possible for vendors with a smaller set up. There is plenty of space outside back by the tree line for some shaded area.

I am thinking a Wednesday late afternoon into evening or even an all day Wednesday market??

Reach out to me!! I will have plenty of produce to sell from my own garden and my container produce growing in the greenhouse.

Root 310 will have kind of wonky hours this weekend. I am dealing with an old injury that has reared it’s ugly side and has really been limiting my sleep and mobility/strength these past few days. I need to be there as much as I can so when I am there, the OPEN flag will be placed by our signage.

A couple arrangements I put together for the Dorie Lee Funeral.
We will be moving in this direction for providing plants and dish gardens for such occasions.

These particular planters are dish gardens.
What is a dish garden?
Dish Garden is a term used for any container that does not have drainage.
The concept of dish gardens is to provide compatible plants that can eventually be divided and repotted for house plants. The idea around dish gardens is that the family of a deceased loved one can have a plant in remembrance.

These particular dish gardens will need to be separated out within a few weeks due to the amount of plants in each of them. I really wanted to provide a full look with these.
I provided a care guide for the planters and light/water requirements for the plants while in the container and after it was divided.

We will post our creations of dish gardens as they are done in hopes that Root 310 will get “on the map” so to speak for a go to source for funeral/sympathy flowering & foliage plants.

This houseplant contains a variety of companion plants: coleus, hostas, impatiens, sweet potato vine, and trailing fuchsia. The impatiens will bloom in pink, which will match good with the pink shades on the coleus! This houseplant needs part sun/part shade, and it is $48.

I posted this one yesterday, but have learned since that whale fins are rare expensive plants, and can also be cloned! So I propagated some of the whale fin babies and kept the begonias +chameleon plants the same. However, the price of this planter did get raised to $50, as this plant usually retails for about $70 for a whale fin plant this size. I apologize for not calculating this correctly before, but $50 is a good deal for a planter containing this rare plant. Also the whale fin plant will produce more babies and those can be cloned as well.

SOLD!!

This plant is a caladium, most popularly known as “angel wings”. Lucious shades of pinks and greens offer a great contrast with the green container. This kind of plant prefers part sun areas and well drained soil; therefore, this planter will need a tray underneath. We have plenty of clear trays here if you don’t have one. This would be a very bold and beautiful accent houseplant in your home!
