Today, Greg and I (Jennie) had the honor of placing the honorary and memorial signs on the trees planted last week at Grass Lake Community Schools. While all of these trees are special, we planted an extra special tree near the J Bechtel Athletic Complex honoring Kim and David Wright for their love and dedication to the Grass Lake Warrior Club. A total of 12 trees were planted. 9 trees at the front of the middle school helping with their beautification program. One tree at the “old” line of trees between the elementary and the high school, and finally a tree planted honoring Thom and Mo Baird at the Nature walk that Thom helped create. This final tree planting was so special to us. To be able to plant at the Middle school and really see Greg’s vision of trees complimenting these schools warms our hearts. It’s the best final planting we could have asked for. Our season and business have come to an end but our dedication to the community will continue forever. Thank you to the community members that donated trees this year, and every year. Thank you for helping to complete Greg’s vision. Over 70 trees donated and planted over the years. Thanks for being a huge part of it.
