All shutters should be cleaned, inspected, and operated periodically to ensure they're ready when you need them most.

Our service technician, Corey, services and repairs all styles and brands of hurricane shutters, including Accordion Shutters, Roll-Up Shutters, Bahama Shutters, Colonial Shutters, and more.

☀️ Backyard comfort... upgraded. 🏡

This project required more than simply installing screens. Because this beautiful patio cover structure was not designed as a hurricane-rated structure, hurricane-rated screens were not the appropriate option for this application.

Instead, we installed Magnatrack Shade/Solar Mesh Screens designed to provide:

✅ Shade from the sun
✅ Bug protection
✅ Added privacy
✅ Improved comfort while maintaining the open outdoor feel

This was a very detailed and time-intensive project with multiple openings and custom areas, but our crew, led by Danny, got it done and brought the homeowner’s vision to life. 👏

We love the finished result — a comfortable outdoor living space that looks like it was always meant to be there.

One of the things homeowners love about Nu Code Shutters is that we’re not limited to just one product.

This home is a great example—we installed colonial shutters on most of the windows, with roll-up shutters on the front doors, and accordion shutters on the much larger back doors and windows. We combined curb appeal protection for privacy, security, and storm readiness… all on one project.

Not every project starts with a full house... sometimes it starts with just one or two openings—and that’s perfectly fine with us. No local job is too small.

This homeowner wanted to begin with opening protection on the two front windows, along with a custom solution for the gable-end attic window. Since that window doesn’t open, she wanted the shutter to appear permanently closed for curb appeal.

Board & Batten shutters aren’t always designed to give that “closed shutter” look, so our team had to get a little creative to make it happen—and the finished result came out beautifully.
