I have seen tons of clients with way more food in their pantries than they need (you know who you are 😉.) The food bank will even pick it up if you donate 40 pounds or more. Couldn't be easier!!

👇Follow these easy steps to help keep your entryway from becoming a war zone:

1. Designate a home for ALL THE THINGS.
This means backpacks, lunchboxes, jackets, shoes, extracurricular items, school papers, etc.. If your kids don’t have a place to put away their things at the end of the day everything will end up- you guessed it- on the floor in your entry way- creating chaos and tripping hazards. For backpacks and jackets hang a couple hooks in the entry way for each child. For shoes have a large basket to corral them all. For papers get a cute paper bin to hang or put on an entryway table.

2. Create a routine.
Now that you have a home for everything- create a routine. When kids come home- what do you want them to do and where do you want them to put their things? Have them unload their backpacks as soon as they come inside; hang their backpacks, and put their shoes, lunch boxes, and papers in their designated spots.

3. Teach and stick to the routine.
Next, teach your kids the routine. And here’s the hard part- stick to it. But once you stick to it for a couple weeks, they will start to do it automatically and HOPEFULLY🤞 will only need a reminder once in a while.
