Our clients, a vibrant couple who love to travel, wanted to transform their home into a stylish, handicap-accessible retreat where they could age in place comfortably. The goal was to blend beauty with functionality—creating a space that is both safe and elegant.

To enhance mobility, we eliminated flooring transitions, ensuring a smooth, one-level surface throughout—perfect for easy movement with a walker or wheelchair.
🛁 Primary Bath – A Spa-Like Sanctuary.
The outdated tub was replaced with a stunning walk-in shower featuring tumbled 3” x 6” wall and floor tiles in shades of blue-green and white. This same exquisite tile can be found at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, adding a touch of history and sophistication.
* LED lighted mirrors bring both functionality and elegance.
* Sleek, streamlined grab bars offer safety without sacrificing style.
👨🍳 Kitchen – Designed to Frame the View.
Set against the breathtaking Virginia landscape visible from the 11th floor, this kitchen remodel combines modern elegance with thoughtful design.
* Matte white GE appliances with brushed gold accents add a touch of luxury.
* Slanted subway tile backsplash introduces unique visual texture.
* Quartzite countertops with subtle gold veining perfectly complement the moss green cabinetry and wood-tone flooring.
🛀 Hall Bath – Timeless & Functional.
This space features a stunning herringbone tile pattern and sleek safety bars that blend seamlessly into the design. A glass shower screen keeps the space open and bright, enhancing the sense of airiness.
To maintain a cohesive aesthetic, we carried over the same Quartzite countertops from the kitchen.
